D & Arzelo. A demon summoner and his demon under contract #oc | #demon | #digitalart | #monster | #terato

Image shows conceptual art for two characters. On the left, a human man in dark clothing with his face obscured by heavy shadow cast by a hoodie he is wearing. On his left is a drawing of his hand in detail, showing the black rings worn on his fingers. Above that is a detail shot of his bare chest showing a dark, hand-like marking on his skin.
The character on the right is a black and red demon. To their right is a symmetrical portrait and a view of their back, showing red markings on their skin.

1/2. First in a set of two character designs with a similar theme. This character is a large, humanoid monster with a bestial pose. The skin is two different dark shades, with fine striation around the muscles and partitions of skin types. Various silver spikes and armoring cover the arms, face and legs - the silver pieces of the chest and head are decorated with celeste gemstones. The hair and mane are a dark blue with mild ombre effect, getting darker towards the tips. On this character, the face is more elongated and draconic. There are tendrils emerging from the back.

2/2. The second character reuses the black and silver theme of the first, but the body type is more svelte and lean. The face is more humanoid, with a mask instead. The tendrils are wrapped around each other to form bat-like wings.

Character custom for engineer1312 #art | #digitalart | #monster | #terato

A character design of a muscular, winged monster, showing them with wings both folded and extended. The monster is covered in white feathers, with dark plumage around the chest and torso, and red feathers on arms and wings. The gold face is skull-like with eyeless sockets and sharp teeth exposed. They have two sets of pectoral muscles, to support both a pair of arms and large feathered wings.
A set of six eyes run down their abs, while they have false eye markings on both pairs of pectoral muscles and on the tips of their wing feathers. The monster stands on strong legs with avian feet.
The first figure in the image also shows the monster wearing an ornate loincloth with golden accessories.

the haunting

an illustration of jude from the graphic novel 'strange cases' in a cathedral-like setting, holding scales with lit candles, as though it was a candelabra. the smoke from the candles swirl around him, leading to a looming statue of his mother holding a sword. her sculpted visage is partially weathered and damaged, exposing the bones that lay underneath the statue. surrounding him are more statues, this time of saints, similarly weathered, with their bones partially exposed.

Too little...too late? (Practicing lights and bg with Raphael and Vincent relationship through the years) #monster #oc #art #demon #originalcharacter #monsteroc

Illustrations of my ocs Vincent and Raphael.
Vincent is wearing a renaissance dress. They are wearing a traditional headpiece, coazzone, with gold, pearls, and emeralds.
Their expression is bittersweet, they're face has a sick look.
Raphael is giving them a kiss on the cheek. He has a traditional outfit, with green and silver colors. He is wearing a hat with large white feathers. He is wearing a silver cross with tiny emeralds on it.
The background has a green light coming out of the windows. The colored glass is shaped like golden eyes on a blue background, staring at them.
The number on the bottom left says 1505

Illustrations of my ocs Vincent and Raphael, both fighting, one struggling to let the sword hit, the other trying to prevent that from happening with their arm.
Vincent has shorter hair, save for a few braids. They are wearing traditional man renaissance clothes, with dark blue and gold colors. Blue fire comes out of their mouth and hand, while the left one is completely on fire, the bones are visible.
They have a cut on their right arm and left thigh. The hand has a charcoal like texture, fingers ending with claws, two of them covered in blood.
From their belt, there are two flasks of potions.
Raphael is holding a long sword with blood on its blade.
He is wearing silver and green armor with a shoulder cape. Four claw marks are engraved in the chest plate, with the metal melted from the head.
Raphael's face has two deep cuts that are bleeding. Part of his cape and the shoulder pad, with a cross painted on top, are on fire.
The background has ruins. The setting is night.
Hidden behind one of the columns is the demon oc Girzagal, with blue and gold clothes. Hos claws have flames, burning the stone as he creates deep marks in it.
His three eyes are focused on the fight. Two eyes focused on Vincent with the pupils slightly larger. The top third one is focused on Raphael. The pupils are very thin.
The number on the bottom left says 1580

Illustrations of my ocs Vincent and Raphael.
They are both standing on a balcony. The lights of the dance room cast an orange hue on them.
Vincent has the back towards the viewer. One hand is holding a pipe with blue smoke coming out of it. Their hand is a burned black.
Their clothes have a wide opening on the back, showing the Girzagal sigil tattooed on their skin. Three gold eyes look towards the viewer.
Raphael is facing the viewer, both arms resting against the railing.
He is looking towards Vincent with an unreadable expression.
His shirt his open, showing several cuts that cover his neck and chest, filled with soft glowing blue gems. One of his arms has three deep claw mark scars.
The number on the bottom left says 1820

I got this finished up! :) It was done with watercolors, gouache, acrylic ink and walnut ink.

A watercolor painting of a skeleton wearing very thick and flowing and draping robes with a hood. It is very gently embracing a human figure, who presses their head against the skeleton's chest and shoulder area as though seeking comfort.

Studying/referencing my own fiancé art because he draws anatomy so deliciously and renders it in a way that the eye can follow the flow of muscles so well. I'm always in awe at his technique and how, from flat colors, he makes the art piece come alive

Gargoyle Grotesque A cursed dragon bound to stone #digitalart | #adopt | #adoptable | #monster | #terato

Image shows a character design inspired by gargoyles and gothic architecture. A fleshy, draconic head is mounted on a bipedal stone body. In one hand it holds a longsword. Both wrists and ankles have shackles, and the neck a collar, that was once attached to chains. There are cracks around its joints, implying that it can move to some extent. Its wings appear decorative only, with similar flesh to its head draped over the top.

Some worldbuilding related sketches of religious knights I did. I am actively trying to get somewhere with this story.

A small sketch sheet with two different kinds of warriors. The left being a simpler style of armor with enameled ribs and and a skull faceplate, the helmet itself being inspired by Deaths Mask helmets.
The right is a more elaborate style of armor with gold trims and a skull shaped visor, probably a higher ranked warrior.
The text in the lower right reads "Acolytes of Death".

Reference sheet of my demon oc Phagus. It has a full body, seven different expressions, a summoning sigil and a smaller full body version without the thighs armor and tentacles.
One of his arms is a fleshy mess, shifting into a full armored arm like his right one.
His palette is dark grey, black, and red.

A character design of a woman in armor. Her dark hair is cropped short; she has a finely crafted gold/bronze breastplate and shield, layers of red and brown clothing and robes, a dark brown cape, and brown boots. Her arm is seemingly made of obsidian.
