I found a bug where I can’t opt out. Expect behavior: Allow the user to opt out so it never gets their posts used to generate any kind of content or feed.

Genuine question. How can I make sure no AI tool accesses my skeets in any way? I have tried to contact support and they have sadly evaded my question twice. If it is "fine" for users not to be interested in Attie, then please give us information on how we can opt out. Thank you in advance.

Genuine question. How can we make sure our skeets aren't accessed by Attie? Bluesky is currently my main social media & I joined to support my anti AI artist friend leaving twitter. I'm sorry I keep asking, but support has evaded my question about that twice so far and it is really concerning me.

Thank you for sharing! Was there any mention of what access this new AI feed tool will have to users' skeets & if there's a risk generative AI will be trained on them? I've tried contacting support & didn't get a response so far. Supporting anti AI artist friends leaving X is what brought me to bsky

Except it's not "optional." It's optional to use it, but we can't avoid being used by it. I don't want to be in a feed created by this thing. It doesn't matter if other services don't respect that, I'm asking this specific team to respect it. If they don't, then they lied about being different.

It's optional to use, but we do not know if it is optional to have our stuff PUT INTO IT. We have no real information on it yet, nor a way to safeguard ourselves from being forcefully included in its data pool

The ongoing horrors of Grok are still fresh in everyone's minds, Jay. We need ways to fully opt out of Attie, ways to make our profiles private, and more information on just WHAT Attie can and cannot do.

Yeah, so frustrating! I have tried to find out, as politely as I could, to what extent attie is trained on posts and how to opt out. Bluesky support completely ignored my questions about that so far, so now I am worried that they're already using it & just keeping quiet about it>:(

@bsky.app @safety.bsky.app @support.bsky.team @jay.bsky.team Sadly, the bluesky support team is not answering my qs about AI, what data it collects & how I can opt out of it for my posts. Why?? I'd rly appreciate a clear answer. I'm okay with waiting for responses. I'm not okay with intransparency.

Carpe Jugulum by Terry Pratchett. Granny Weatherwax usually stresses me out more than other characters, so it was surprising that not having her there for more plot than usual was stressful in a different way. Which was probably the experience of some characters as well. I am v interested in Agnes!

The Tube Train, by Cyril E. Power, linocut, 1934.

Description from The Met’s site - “Inspired by the modernity of London’s subway system, popularly known as the Tube, Power featured it in many of his signature linocuts. The disengaged passengers on this crowded subway—a scene familiar to many urban dwellers—prefer to read their newspapers rather than interact with one another. Alienation, a by-product of modern life, is a theme often present in Power’s images of the London Underground”.
