In Deutschland sieht das Gesamtbild so aus: Mehr als 700.000 Multimillionäre halten zusammen mit den rund 5.000 Superreichen über die Hälfte (52,8 Prozent) des Finanzvermögens. Den Superreichen gegenüber stehen rund 66 Millionen Menschen in Deutschland mit einem Finanzvermögen von unter 250.000 Dollar. Dazwischen: rund 3,2 Millionen Menschen mit einem Vermögen zwischen einer Viertelmillion und einer Million Dollar. Die schwächelnde Wirtschaft, die alternde Bevölkerung und die relativ schwache Aktienkultur dämpfen der Studie zufolge einen breiter verteilten Vermögensaufbau.

"In the early days, as Engels said, everyone
'lived frivolously' - everyone fucked." He looked wistful. "It was only with the start of class society we started producing a surplus, and men wanted to pass their surplus on to their children. So they couldn't let women sleep around." It all came down to who's inheriting your wealth. "You have to know your children are yours." He shook his head.
"It blew my mind."
The idea that class is the root of sexism - as opposed to, say, I don't know, men - is the sort of thing revolutionary communists like.
