Last week we welcomed Milo Newman to the Department. Milo will be working with Professor Cheryl McEwan on the Leverhulme Trust-funded “Living with Weeds” project, which seeks to reconceptualise ‘invasive weeds’ in the UK through migrant and decolonial ecologies and multispecies geographies.

Durham Geography is devastated by the sad news of the death of our dear friend and enormously respected and much-loved colleague, Sarah Knuth, after an incredibly brave battle with cancer. Our thoughts go out to her family and close friends. We will miss her immensely.
