One of my early gay memories was hearing Cyndi Lauper's immortal testament to self-pleasure, "She-Bop," looking up the lyrics at the library computer, searching what a "Blueboy Magazine" was, and instantly understanding something about myself while nervously glancing around if anyone was looking.

I was a little apprehensive about Nigella on Bake-Off since she has never really felt like a baker but, one episode in, I'm liking it. That said, the opening intro looks like they might be leaning a too hard into Gimmicky on some of the bakes this season.

I mean, probably but there's also a smart way of playing this. For starters, if you have multiple, you try to create divides between them early instead of waiting until Jury. Second, you make sure they don't isolate you because last thing you want is to be collateral when they go up. #BB28
