FYI: The US currently exports roughly 6 million tons of diesel every month. Trump's decision to import 400,000 tons (a tiny fraction of US exports) will NOT impact diesel prices. All it will do is funnel billions to Putin that he can use to murder more civilians.

14th Century London saw murder rates in the 20 to 52 per 100k range. We’re in the 4ish per 100k range now. The idea that more visible, unsanitized , public forms of execution deterred murder just doesn’t bear out.
