This is bad journalism. It cannot be overstated how much harm has been caused by lumping "LLM driven toxic bullshit" in with the traditional understanding of AI as a computer science discipline. The tools and techniques described in this article have nothing to do with LLM-based systems.

Anyway my contribution to the guns in fantasy is that Lax Legends does has guns, has since the first page, they‘re just considered recently demystified technology; crafting them was a job for mages just 30 years ago, and distribution/manufacturing standards hasnt fully caught up
