A double cassette of water music, Hussite techno, speculative Cornish folk, and music to take the edge off a trip to hospital, Daryl Worthington reviews the cassettes of late summer Spool’s Out: Cassette Reviews for September buff.ly/pAgs61O
Technofeudalismus by Kalich album cover. Chaotic abstract composition of twisted metallic spikes and mace-like forms torn by jagged silver and orange streaks, glossy textures and diagonal slashes.Synthetic Water Music by Various Artists album cover. Dreamlike plant-like fountain rising from a ribbed vase, its layered blossoms curling into spirals with translucent blue streams overhead against a light purple-blue backdrop.
