From his first Moog to the collaborative world of “Guest List,” M. Geddes Gengras has followed his curiosity into haunting drones, psych-dub, and beyond. He walks us through nine key releases and the experiments that shaped them.

“With modular synthesis especially, it’s like, ‘You can make cool noises. How do you make music with it?’ My stuff has been a little all over the place stylistically. But the through line has been, ‘Does this make me feel something? Does this feel like music?’”

For @bandcamp.com, Ryan Reed wrote an incredibly deep @mgeddes.bsky.social album dive. This feature goes through 10x of Ged’s albums, from 𝙀𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙩 (2010) all the way to 𝙂𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙇𝙞𝙨𝙩 (2026), looking at nearly two decades of music and life in equal measure. 𝙂𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙇𝙞𝙨𝙩 is out now on LP/CD/digi

🤣🎭🎷 Crying Laughing - "Geese Six" debut album 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 out Sept 10 on HausMo! "Geese Six" perfectly embodies CL's chimeric middle-ground status between freewheeling rock band and tightly composed new music ensemble, part post-punk and part jazz fusion. Music for the body as much as the mind.
