Really, really enjoying Edge of the Abyss by @rebeccaroanhorse.bsky.social. I'm halfway through and Mothma's family story hits HARD. Really fits well into Andor's tone and world. #StarWars

My phone, PC, Retropie, and even 3DS are using Syncthing to share save files from my central NAS. With Tailscale, I can now pick up and play any of my Retro games from whatever device I have access to whenever I like. Now I should probably play something...

Not going to lie, as much as I hate AI and would NEVER use it for writing, being able to create bespoke apps for use cases nobody else has is amazing. So far I've made I've made some homelab tools and a #PokemonGo Shiny Tracker for my phone, & now a Syncthing client for my 3DS. Actually kinda crazy.

If Google let me use Gemini for Keep without sacrificing my Gmail and family Calendar to it's data mining machine, I'd use Gemini. But it bundled that together, so I won't use it.

I am 1 Pokemon away from getting every Pokémon in Legends Arceus on Home and unlocking shiny Volcanion. But to get it, I need to play BDSP, and I'm not paying 450kr for a lacklustre remake. If it has done something extra like the remakes before it I would have bought it day 1.

It would never happen, but I wish Sega and Nintendo would sell on #GOG. I know we can pirate and emulate all the classics, but I would pay money for GOG to wrap a rom in an emulator, handle all the metadata, and launch just like a Galaxy DOSBOX game. Emulator, GOG and license holder get their cut.

Liz Kloczkowski (art director Picard) asked John Eaves to sign her copy of his book, he borrowed it for the night and drew this scene.

Front page of a copy of "Star Trek - The Art of John Eaves". There is a drawing of several starfleet ships battling a Borg cube. The cube is shaped to spell "LIZ". There is the text "Welcome to the family".

Both totally unnecessary and extremely funny that the Guardian has an interactive graphic for you to change the color of the US flag's blue to the color of the Reflecting Pool from 8 to 19 June and counting

Screenshot of the article's graphic, showing color swatches derived from the Earthcam archive, illustration the color of the reflecting pool calibrated against satellite imagery, from 8 June to 19 June 2026. I chose yesterday, 19 June, so it rendered the US American flag with a green hue instead of blue.

I’m gonna be real. Believing that older video games require constant remakes in order to be enjoyed in the modern day is the same school of thought as needing a live action remake of an animated film in order to watch it. It’s just completely pointless most of the time.

As a lifelong #DoctorWho fan it hurts to say it, but I think it's time for the franchise to rest. I don't think it's compatible with what the BBC needs it to be: a huge, money printing tentpole franchise to draw in big numbers in the era of streaming. Doctor Who isn't that, it's family TV. 1/5
