I acquired this prop from the 403 Auction and it was labeled generically as “sci-fi prop.” It was prominently seen most recently in #StarTrek #StrangeNewWorlds, “Those Old Scientists”, as a “matter synthesizer” when Boimler and Spock are working in the lab to synthesize horonium.
A custom-built production-made prop from Star Trek Strange New Worlds and Star Trek Discovery. In this configuration, it is billed as a “matter synthesizer.” The prop is made of 3D printed black and grey parts forming a cylindrical vessel along with metal parts clear curved acrylic viewing window. Paired with the prop is a white yeti tumbler that has a “radioactive label” on it.The same prop mentioned in the first image from a side angle. The black handles have a repurposed PlayStation toggle joystick attached. A screen capture from the Strange New Worlds episode “Those Old Scientists” showing Boimler on the lab. The matter synthesizer prop is seen on screen in front of him on a lab table.

Back in '98 I was lucky enough to animate the film from Star Trek the Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. We had a motion base set up on the stage that we'd test the flight path with. Paramount loaned us the shooting model from the show for us to digitize. I was so young back then.

I'd forgotten about this R&H photo! Keith Hunter was one of the best men I've ever known. He managed the modeling department (and built the CG Enterpise) Nancy (left) was a talented modeler and Kristina was one of the coolest producers I've worked with. That Bird of Prey was on loan from ILM.

The Batmobile from 1992 film is going up for auction at Julien's Auctions This is the "hero" car - the primary car, screen matched to the majority of on screen appearances. Its 19' 8", so you need a long garage to store it when not using it to pick up the groceries.

A test of the animated bussard effect for the 1/1400 Enterprise D. The video is dark to make the RGB lighting effect closer to how it appears in person. Animation may change, the main goal was to get proper hot-spots similar to how it was seen in the show. #startrek #modelmaking #electronics

What if tiltjet Y-wing... heheh
A 3D viewport screenshot showing an untextured Y-wing model from Star Wars, but with the engines rotated 90° so that they are facing the ground. As a result of their length, the body of the Y-wing has been raised high in the air, so the forward landing gear has to telescope out to a comical length.

BEHOLD! I finally settled on the design of the ship. Presenting: USS Celeste (NCC- 74642) ✨✨✨ I wanted the ship to look sleek and organic, like a swimming sea creature, and I think I'm finally satisfied with the design. #StarTrek #OriginalArt #Celeste I almost forgot why I avoid drawing vehicles🫠
A few drawings of the spaceship from the artist's original Star Trek series. The ship is primarily steely blue, with accents of a darker grey and black that make it look like a swimming cuttlefish or a grey alien head. The color of the lights on the nacelles are yellow and blue

Top: Worm's eye view of the ship, but the viewer is getting the rear-right view of the ship, so, basically the underside of the nacelles and the right side of the secondary hull. Windows can be seen on the facade.

Middle left: Another worm's eye view, but this time it's the front of the ship. The bottom of the secondary hull has a black y shape, that surrounds the warp core. The bottom of the primary hull is lined with a thin golden line that makes a bat ears shape. Right under where the ears meet, the registry number of the ship is written (NCC-74642)

Middle right: Blue prints of the ship: Side elevation at the top,Top view at the bottom. The views make she ship look like an abstract cuttlefish with eyes on the side, and fountain pen like sign at its head.

Bottom: Bird's eye view of the ship, from the right. Top of the saucer section can be seen, it has two black eye like shapes at it's sides, a a black semi oval shape at the front of it's head, intersected with a tiny white circle and a thin while line. It makes the black shape look like the head of a fountain pen. There are two symmetrical geometrical grey accents to it, sort of like the back of a sea turtle. Right below the black shape at the front, the ship's registry number is written (NCC-74642), slightly warped to match the curve.

Background: Dark blue space, with lots of stars.
