Hogwarts Legacy may have sold well. It got nominated for "Most Anticipated Game" in 2022. Then 2023 came along and Baldur's Gate 3 swept the wizard game out of the room for the major gaming awards. And people are still playing BG3 and modding for it. Legacy is mostly forgotten now.

I'm on departmental email duty, and I use my own templates and fill in the relevant information. Could an AI agent do it faster? Sure, but leaving aside all of the ethical considerations around gen AI use, I need to know what's going out under my name, and that it's accurate and appropriate.

I just realized a way to explain why I don't use genAI for writing that doesn't sound like I'm judging people who do (even though I totally am): "I have control issues around my writing. If something goes out with my name on it--even just an email--I need to know exactly what it's saying and why."

I was explaining to a group of teenagers the other day that an important part of learning about statistics is learning how to manipulate/abuse statistics - so you can spot when someone is using them to mislead you. It's an important life skill. They'll be old enough to vote in the next GE.
