@zurichjs.com, are there plans for another conference in 2027? I was not able to attend this year’s, but I’ll make sure I don’t miss the next one

AI makes it so easy to polish rough edges and smooth out your product experience. Yet pretty much every piece of software is falling apart. Why? The devs building them don't care. Software built by people detached from the users has never felt worse.

I was just reading a Slack thread where someone asked whether people were considering cancelling their IDE subscriptions. A surprisingly large number said yes. Companies like JetBrains will need to adapt quickly.

If your AWS costs have suddenly spiked abnormally, you are not alone. I received a $518M charge for S3 buckets that I haven't actively used in years. It's a known issue impacting users worldwide: health.aws.amazon.com/health/status

Yes. And also we’re about to see a whole crapload of new cool things in the first category
Again: the paradox falls away once you realize that personal software you write for yourself is fundamentally different from "production code" that other people have to use, maintain and improve.

Raycast is nice, but I keep going back to Alfred. It’s just so much faster for me. Especially bookmark search. It doesn’t have that many extensions, but with AI I can easily write any extension I need.
