The entirety of this new album from The Lampreys is amazing, but I can't stop playing "My Dreams Always Haunt Me" in particular. It's like The Strokes and J Dilla made the best song of all time back in the early 2000s and bottled it up until just now.

Listening to a midwest emo record I found through reels, and it's a premier example of why mixing is so important. Every song here wants to be dynamic, but it all falls flat. It's the sonic equivalent to a wet paper towel. It sounds as if it were recorded inside a ziploc bag.
