The upcoming Hirayasumi anime is a beauty, in a way that perfectly captures its appeal. Backgrounds fade to white but without introducing surreality, comfortable linework in all layers so that a lot of detail can still come together into a relaxed screen. Lived-in and chill, like it should be

The focus on Hikaru was great, but seeing her paired with Akafuku and getting to learn more about both of them was awesome and felt very fresh. They're at totally different ends of the social spectrum, and I thought that was illustrated wonderfully by both of their reactions to Sturgeon's Law!

A famous sci-fi author once said: "90% of everything is crap."

That means no matter how hard you try, everyone's basically the same.
