Good for sound effects (Maybe even better than for dialogue…). Demonstrating this are stylized sound effects that reads "Splat", "Aaaiiieeee!!!", and "drip drip".

#HG 今月完成したのはバンダイ製、HGブルーティッシュドッグになります。頭が丸く大きく見えるよう後頭部を1㎜延長。ガトリングはユニットとして１から適当に作ってみました。ターンピックも大きくしたり、拳もWAVEのFハンドMサイズを使って大きくしています。バトリング専用機としてカスタムアップされた機体というイメージ。オーナーはリアルバトルのチャンプという妄想です(笑)。

I saw the double feature of Ratatouille and Pirates of the Caribbean 3, two weekends in a row. Once with friends before going to camp, and then with my family after they picked me up from camp. Haven't seen either since.

The musical score for Resident Evil (2026) really stuck with me. Love the abrasive sounds that punctuate it, kinda like tinny-er versions of the Dubstep Fart noises in the Stardust Crusaders anime. The piano tune in the RV verges on sentimental but is discordant enough to stay on edge.

Reading a gag manga called Say Hello to Mr. Wallaby about an Australian Quokka who immigrates to Japan to become a teacher, and I do enjoy the mom's conception of a hunky foreigner here.

A mother and daughter are discussing the daughter's new teacher. The daughter is discussing a Quokka in human clothes and says "He's super fuzzy and really cute, but he reads BUSHIDO and he loves Dango and Ketchup and Creamed Corn Soup!" to which the mom imagines a bear of a man in overalls and a polka dotted undershirt with a huge beard and large eyes with exaggerated lashes "So he's a Japanophile with a big appetite? Going to make and release a new font by the end of 2026. Putting this out there so I have some solid motivation. Not gonna be a font specific to comics, just my default rough handwriting. It's messy. But I've learned a ton since my prior font, and need to kick into gear to implement all that.
