I am 36 now, have been having my menstruation for 23 years. Of all those 23 years I suffered under heavy bleeding and pain and other problems. I've only gotten a gynaecologist who finally took this serious and requested more tests to diagnose endo two weeks ago. 23 YEARS.

At my last work, the mentality of doing lunch break together wasn't really there, many just ate while keeping working. I took my lunch break every day and sat outside on a bench with my lunchbox and my book. This definitely kept me going.

I once helped a couple i am friends with finding a new flat, and I was at every showing and both of them continously asked me for my opinion. At the end the real estate agent was so confused he wasn't sure anymore a) how many people would move in and b) what our relationship constellation was.

Know that libraries count things. How many people have cards, how many times a book or DVD or CD is checked out, etc. And then we take those numbers to our internal staff and say "look, people want this" to justify purchases, and then to local govts to say "look, we need to stay open".

When I still lived in a flat on ground floor, for 2 months there was a car that often went off in the middle of the night. The last time it went off and wouldn't stop for over an hour. (Directly in front of my window) I called the non emergency number of the local police. Never went off again.
