This is how you get rid of homeless encampments Mr. Ford. Sending police in to break them up does nothing except perpetuate cruelty while wasting money.. They still exist, they still deserve a safe place to live.

#bikelanes The entire network must be connected because people live at all points of the network. It's not that someone is necessarily going to bike from the suburbs to downtown. They may bike between closer or further suburbs, for example. They should not face a gap.

Oof, watching those Ontario ads with all the things they're doing like getting rid of safe injection sites, breaking up encampments and adding more jails and police which we *know* does not reduce crime hurts my soul. Wasted money and pointless cruelty combined.

I want to start an advocacy group called "Drivers Against Traffic" and campaign against everything that doesn't make traffic better. "Road widening? You're going to waste my money, snarl traffic on a solution known to not work? No sir. Put in a bike and bus lane so those people can be out of my way"

Lie: Taking lanes from cars for bike and bus lanes increases congestion. Truth: Every person on a bike or bus is one less car on the road being traffic.

Fund transit: If you do, you get less traffic. If you don't, you get endless construction and road expansions that costs more than funding transit and doesn't reduce congestion.

Hey Ontario! You've heard of the disastrous Ford bill to destroy tenant rights, but did you know that Omnibus Bill 60 would entirely wipe out the ability of cities to right-size their roads by reducing lanes _at all_, not even just for bike lanes? #onpoli #OttBike #ontario #ottawa

So sick of the gaslighting BS that adding a bike lane to a high speed stroad w/ 4-6 car lanes + 2 parking lanes & 1-2 turning lanes will "remove access for cars" when having no bike lane in actuality is a de facto ban on bikes on high speed corridors which usually don't have low speed alternatives.
