Good. It is unacceptable that public bodies such as government departments and agencies remain on X unless they adhere to its lack of values. I vote Leave in this case. In the unlikely event of a Reform government they can Rejoin!

I just watched the replay of The Obama Presidential Center Dedication Ceremony on C-Span. This was exactly what my heart needed💙 I have not felt hope & joy like this for the longest time. Michelle's speech was so powerful, and Barack's reminded me what integrity, intelligence & conscience look like.

In Doppelganger, @naomiaklein.bsky.social shows how white supremacists assume the victimhood of those they oppress, presenting the evils they do as evils done to them. In Britain, where black people are 7 times more likely than white people to die after police restraint, this is what we are seeing.

Why is the new season of Law and Order so poor? Surely budget restrictions are to blame here. It doesn’t have the pace nor the gravitas of the previous seasons The acting in this new series is second rate, apart from Jack and he’s a little too old.and doesn’t have the presence.

It’s a dilemma. Whether to hit Restore and tell them what I think of their very extreme views on race and immigration or keep quiet as they are minimising the impact of the right in Makerfield. Possibly the latter and watch them eat themselves perhaps 😎😎

Spot on by @robertshrimsley.bsky.social Too many people have been ignoring Lowe and what he represents because he posts on X and FB.
Opponents of Farage will welcome the prospect of his vote fracturing, of the revolutionary right eating itself. Lowe could be the best thing to happen to Labour since universal suffrage. But it comes with a cost. The boundaries of debate have already changed sharply. Anti-immigrant, particularly anti-Muslim, sentiment is open and normalised. Reform and the Tories have already moved significantly, both adopting deportation strategies. A buoyant
Restore could shift them further.
