"executioners had injected both syringes of lethal injection chemicals and Pike is still alive and snoring," her lawyers said in a federal court filing.

Witnesses who observed the event say that Tennessee authorities attempted to torture Christa Gail Pike to death, botched the process horribly, and then literally pulled the curtains on the execution when their mishandling became clear. Pike is still alive and suffering horrendously.
