More than bad piss-coloured art, the most common trait among AI-heavy indie games I see thrown my way is incredibly bland UIs. Just walls of boxes and sliders without graphics, just slightly different colors and plain text. It's obviously not a foolproof metric but 'UI design by AI' is a thing.

Well Dweller is such a beautiful game There's clear inspiration from Hollow Knight, some Celeste in there, I think a bit of Little Nightmares, and it's got such a wonderful creepy/cute vibe to it, real creepy children's fairytale kinda thing going. I'd nearly immediately recommend it.

From my own experience, I think Townfall has to be one of the most divisive Silent Hill games I've seen. Like, goes to both sides of the spectrum of opinions, with the only thing a lot of people agree on being performance issues. Thankfully, I've avoided that part, so will be fun to start on Monday!
