Posted about it on Twitter, but I figured I should talk about it here, too. CQ Act 2 is underperforming to a really disappointing degree. I'm considering my options moving forward, but it's looking very grim for my ability to continue working on games going forward.

This part really got me. Despite the huge jump in production quality, the entire game has been mostly planned out since 2022, and I was pretty disappointed when not many players noticed the way Act 1 was hinting at a deeper narrative under the surface. Act 2 was meant to pull that stuff into focus

One of my favorite little sound design tricks is to do some serious pitch bending on drum kits. The only instrument on this track is the drum kit, split into a few different discs to separate the automated effects.
