Tangent: Friction in games has been dying. Difficulty alongside it, and overcoming difficulty is one of the greatest feelings in video games. I played through Sly 1 recently, and the Time Trials are insanely difficult. I attempted the first time trial for literally 30 minutes until I got it. 1/2

The rush to recomp old games (Using Ai) reminds me of the people who purchase those emu handhelds and never getting past the title screen. It's just gimme-now mentality, no thought/love involved. It's not even about ethics anymore. No one is stopping to ask "Do we need this" and the answer is No.

Made it so traps during boss fight 2 reset after 30 seconds

I found out what this was btw Apparently if you turn tick off on a CharacterMovementComponent in unreal It stores the delta time until next time it ticks again Which is something I started doing on NPCs when i enter the shop, so they're all trying to move to 0,0,0 to make up for lost time

Coolest thing about Fable to me having played the 3 , (liking 2 the most) was how stylized it was I'm talking about the OG releases not the remasters. That is the biggest bummer to me when all these games move to modern pipelines. They abandoned the cartoony proportions in favor of MetaHuman slop

Im at the point where i feel like GearGrit isn't fun for me anymore, i've played it for literally thousands of hours I'm the only person playing the game & designing it 95% of the time so its natural I feel this way I wish i could take another break but i feel incredibly stressed out
