On Friday I’ll be sending out my first quest letter in over 12 years. You’d think with 7 books out it would be easier, but I can already feel the anxiety. I just need to keep reminding myself that querying determines how this book gets published. Not if it’s worth being published.

I’d love to get more pictures of the baby ferret, but he never stops moving. The best I can do is when he’s stuck in a carrier with one of his sisters passed out after a vaccine. She used him as a pillow and he didn’t seem to care.

Surgery went well. But for the next 5 days I have to keep her from acting…well…like a cat. No jumping, running, or climbing. And when this is all done and said, she’s going to be more angry about her surgical suit, than the actual surgery.

I don't ever want to hear the GOP talking line of the consumers don't pay the tariffs again. They are nothing but liars. Ordered a Christmas gift for my mom from Britain. It was not cheap, but it is something I know she will love and wanted to get her. I paid 50.00 in shipping at purchase.

Alright folks: let’s keep the thirst to a minimum here. Sgt. McGovern (right) is only in the photo to provide scale. After the last couple of posts a disclaimer seems appropriate.

We aren’t sure what breed this tiny, long, skinny dog is but he or she (Kodo or Podo) has weaseled its way into our collective heart. We’d love to add it to the K9 Unit to assist Rosie in ferreting out crime, or maybe SVU (Special Vermin Unit), but someone is surely missing this critter.

***UPDATE: Somehow this small Fair-it(Rolo) made his way from Yonkers to Ossining without a Metrocard. Thankfully he has been returned with parents, and will be reunited with his brother who has been worried sick! We aren’t sure exactly how he made his way all the way north to us, but we are happy he is back home with his family!

I have always been drawn to Disney, Studio Ghibli, and Pixar art, but always thought I needed to be more serious in my artistic endeavors. But then I started drawing Kawaii characters and I am having so much fun! Art is art, no matter if it is a portrait or a unicorn hot chocolate.
