I'm a member of an opposition party so any criticism I have of tgovernment gets taken with a pinch of salt. But *seriously*. Can ANYONE defend this approach to leadership. It is the embodiment of "head in the sand" thinking. This is a frightening level of incompetence from the lads steering the ship

Thinking of buying an EV? Great. Before you decide, bear in mind that every Tesla sold helps fund a fascist who has killed tens of thousands, is betraying Ukraine & is working to install Trump as a dictator-for-life. There are lots of other choices. Say NO to Musk, BOYCOTT Tesla & Starlink.

Ireland’s performance on #climate mitigation is the worst in Europe and will still be the worst in 2030. In this infographic that’s measured by the size of the gap between the left of the green bar graph (cuts achieved) and the blue dot (2030 goal).

When it comes to fresh, drinkable water, Ireland is paying a lot to clean polluted water, while investing little in restoring the rivers, wetlands, and farmlands that could keep it pure in the first place. Other countries, like France, are doing the exact opposite.

As John says key issue is grid access (and by access I mean someone to call not a form with a 18+mth response time). Even a thin grid connection can trickle charge a battery to fast charge a truck (our norm in EU). Battery swap may come in time.
