If United loses to Spurs tomorrow, while it might be humiliating to be the side that lost to Spurs, it could give United and Amorim the time to build cohesion without European football for a season. It might prove to be beneficial to United's league campaign and the football going forward.

Hear me out... Gyökeres to United with Højlund to Sporting on loan for two seasons. Højlund needs out of the spotlight and to rediscover form and confidence, if he can find it United will get the player they expected and Sporting will get a striker to fill in for Gyökeres.

I may be overreacting because it's so fresh in my mind, but Rasmus Højlund might be the worst number 9 I've ever seen in the Premier League, but definitely United's worst. At the beginning of this season I thought he'd have a good campaign, but I was sorely wrong. He looks like he's never played.
