50 yrs ago in 1976, Graham Parker bought out two amazing albums & is now doing a small celebratory tour. Nearly 50 yrs too since my first ever gig in March '77 - to see Graham Parker! So I went along again this week. Big thanks to @michaeldaly64.bsky.social for alerting me to the tour!

Involuntary painting ✨ 📷 #noticing
An abstract photo of a detail of an old tin door with multiple layers of paint that are cracked, peeling & starting to bubble and rust.
Most of the colours are muted but a section in the centre is a pale lemon, with green & mauve thicker sections above. 
To me they give the impression of a stormy seascape with the headland and a wide stretch of deserted beach.

You’re Getting In My Hair, created c.1968 by Mavis Oultram, in the art therapy studio at Netherne Hospital, Surrey, where she was compelled to live. This is one of a small number of surviving works, which all feature the motif of eyes. No biographical information is currently known to us

Die Gebäude besitzen zahlreiche kleine Balkone und sind im Erdgeschossbereich teils mit Graffiti versehen. Auf den Bürgersteigen stehen Fahrräder, am Ende der Straße parkt ein blauer Kleintransporter.Ein ganzflächiges, abstraktes Kunstwerk. Es zeigt ein dichtes Netz aus feinen, schwarzen, geschwungenen Tuschlinien auf hellem Grund, die an organisches Gewebe oder Zellstrukturen erinnern. In den Zwischenräumen sind viele kleine, farbige Akzente in Türkis, Gelb, Orange und Violett gesetzt.Eine Aufnahme eines massiven, zelt- bzw. felsenartigen Betonbauwerks (Wallfahrtsdom Neviges) mit kantigen, asymmetrischen Formen und kleinem Spitzenmuster im Dachbereich. Book 20 / 2026 The Forgotten - Rosalind Fox-Johnson Amazing to come across a major photographic talent you've never come across before, with a whole body of work to investigate. This discovery of a US master was thanks to the London Photo Fair this year. A book purchase had to follow.
