Tremendous that this guy, THIS GUY, has the chutzpah to weaponise 'bald'.

For once, what we could really do with is a prime minister with no principles or backbone. Where's Starmer when you need him?

Continues to fascinate me how senior professionals in serious fields can't get through a comment about the City case without making derogatory comment about supporters. There's something about football that drives people mad and no one is above it. It's beautiful, in a way.

Well I know what I was doing on this day and at this time thirty five years ago - travelling back home from Stoke-on-Trent after watching this flippin' marvellous gig.

Finnish Laura’s long train journey to the frozen north is shared with coarse young Ljoha, and finding common ground seems impossible. Award-winning 'odd couple' drama set in 1990s Russia.

Laughs are hard to come by City-wise at the moment, but this made me chuckle, I have to say.

After reading the statement issued by Etihad this evening, Stefan Borson's tweet, which was posted immediately after the charges were announced, is starting to look increasingly prescient.

There's a thread on Bluemoon suggesting 'Three Little Birds' with its 'Don't worry about a thing' chorus should be played at the Etihad before kick-off and at full-time ongoing. While I admire the positivity, I can't help feeling The Jam's 'The Bitterest Pill (I Ever Had to Swallow)' seems more apt.

With Joey Barton and Daniel Thomas both now safely incarcerated until next March at the very least, who would be your preferred choice to make it a hat-trick? It's the odious Laurence Fox for me, all day long.

From Cornwall's Atlantic coast last week to Yorkshire's North Sea coast this Friday. Three of my favourite bands on the same bill was too much to resist, and Whitby never disappoints.

While it seems that the outcome of City's case may be far more complex than the info leaked on Friday, it's still a good time to be retired and not have to suffer gloating work/schoolmates. I've a feeling that the corridors & playgrounds of Manchester schools in particular will be v.lively tomorrow.

Bizarre things that happened in your assembly: Our headmaster spotted an earring glinting from the ear of soon-to-be ACR frontman Simon Topping. Outraged, he shouted "there's a boy there wearing an EARRING! Topping, on your feet lad. This is a grammar school, not a pirate's cove!"

The number of 'fallen out of love with football' types who just happen to be of the United persuasion is remarkable. This phenomenon seems to have increased steadily over the past 12 years or so too; City's continued success during this period is surely coincidental.

I'm not entirely sure Spurs fans will still think 'Savio is fun' when the penny drops that looking lively, beating his full-back, then whacking his cross straight into the nearest defender, again and again, is what he does every single week. Still, we've got £85m, and as long as they're happy.
