Can I just say how frustrating it has been that Microsoft broke the copy & paste functionality in Excel and doesn't seem to be in any hurry to fix it? And if they ever do why should I bother switching back from Libreoffice?

I feel this is probably quite important information. You wouldn't want to get it wrong.
Split-panel photographic meme showing actor Matt Damon inside holding a phone on the left and a person gently holding a baby otter named Steve on the right.
Text on the left panel reads “Otter” and text on the right panel reads “Matt Damon.”

Ten years of relentlessly hateful, comically elitist anti-democratic politics across the white people world, helpfully summarised. The wrong people are talking, the wrong people are deciding and it’s harming the careers of important people who actually matter. Smithers! Release the hounds
The incident fits a broader pattern in the discourse around 'free speech' and 'cancel culture': whatever comes from the top down is freedom; whatever comes from the bottom up is bullying and censorship. When Macklemore is dropped at the behest of the billionaire stadium owner Robert Kraft, it's an exercise of the freedom of businesses to 'demonstrate their values' by deciding whom to platform. But when Ed Sheeran's fans decide not to buy tickets to his performances, or even demand refunds, it's bullying, mob behaviour. Since most people are not billionaires and do not own stadiums, they can exercise meaningful power only collectively. The collective exercise of power must therefore be demonised.

Just a reminder that no matter how hard a Republican candidate tries to distance themselves from Tangerine Mussolini they're still willing to have an (R) after their name. This means they are in agreement with all Republican policies and are complicit in all Republican crimes.

Well, this led me down a silly rabbit hole. Have you ever wondered what the 1701 lineage would look like if they’d followed the NX catamaran configuration instead of the nil’s necked style? (Of course not!) Probably not like this, but I’ve never done a project focusing on multiple ships at once 😜
Lineage of nil through E Enterprises. Scaled to geverally match the canonical lengths, but proportioned and adjusted to have no necks and instead the dual catamaran style of the NX with a small engineering compartment rather than a whole secondary hull. Being trek ships, they all have a saucer up front, and two nacelles at the back to the sides. The image styles (what derails are shown or not) are taken from the TNG tech manual, except the sovereign E which obviously isn’t in that book, so I attempted to match the detailing style a bit at least.
