This is a powerful reminder that preconceived notions often shape "science" more than evidence does. For 200 years, we assumed a rich burial with tools belonged to a man - but DNA just proved it was a female metalworker. We need to challenge these biases! #Archaeology #BronzeAge

Advice for my fellow early-career researchers: repeated requests for detailed feedback, methods, or specialist knowledge are contributions. Informal idea exchange is fine, but ideas and expertise deserve credit. Without early ethical authorship discussions, this risks becoming exploitation.

I have added the following to my original complaint. I'm posting this because it feels important that EAA members understand the extent of what is happening as so much of it is behind closed doors. Names redacted (the irony!) because I feel forced to do so while the evidence is being withheld.
"I am also concerned about the process and decisions behind the production of the minutes of the meeting on 09.01.2026. XXX's comments about me have been redacted (point XX). I was not consulted about this redaction. Had I been consulted, I would have requested that his comments about me were displayed in full as this would provide members with a full and accurate account of the behaviour of Prof. XXX at the meeting. As the minutes currently stand, they remove the evidence of his behaviour, thus not only protecting Prof. XXX, but also further impinging on my agency in this matter. The redaction, therefore, feels like a further attempt at silencing and obfuscation from the Executive."
