On 1st October the English Whisky GI comes into effect. I'm looking to take all views on this for an article. It isn’t just an industry discussion, its a consumer one; so I'm running a survey to get an idea of what we all think. Would love it if you take part & share. forms.gle/puUh9w1dDRCH...

Whisky GI Survey: What Buyers Actually Think
I'm researching how much Geographical Indication (GI) status actually means to whisky buyers, including people who buy it as gifts but don't drink it themselves, following England's whisky GI approval...

#DrinkHIP I did my notes earlier in the day in the order of Tomintoul, Invergordon, Bowmore, rum. I suspect tonights order had an impact on tasting notes. However, I love this concept, but the drams are just lacking either abv or mouthfeel or both. Maybe more abv and less outturn next batch?

It's been a while, but I have a new article out on Substack. I'm a little over the ongoing and flawed narrative surrounding Gen Z and GLP'1s. Let's have some honesty and critical thinking, eh? clairevokins.substack.com/p/the-kidz-a...
clairevokins.substack.com
The Kidz are alright..... (and so are the jabz)
A lack of critical thinking and lazy reporting has created a narrative that doesn’t hold up with regards to economic decline in the world of whisky…..

I am a huge Fettercairn fan girl, and from the 12 upwards, you know what you're getting. They have a very strong distillate character and I love it. Fave today, the Vanguard. Tomorrow might be something different. Thanks so much Steve and the #Fettercairnwhisky team for sorting out.
