Watched Arcadia of My Youth. Maybe it’s because I was watching the subs for the first time, but damn this movie rocked so hard for me this time. Harlock’s awesomeness cannot be challenged and it’s genuinely a moving story about resistance towards oppression.

Rewatched F for Faked. Yeah, it’s still a fascinating doc. Something that really stood out to me this time around is how much of the con is dependent on discrediting experts. There’s an inherent distrust in those who specialize in a highly subjective field such as art.

Btw life update, I had a pretty nasty depression episode last week. It finally shook me enough to schedule a proper therapy session and find a new primary care doctor. I’m also changing my work schedule next month to work PM after 8 years of exclusively doing AM. Hopefully things will improve soon
