A few more Lions of Jabir, Alchemist from Bite The Bullet! And a Bestiarum model for my Scripture Guardian. Trench Crusade's Iron Sultanate is such a fun faction! And a few bonus Marines Malevolent Scrungaloids by @opensketchbook.bsky.social

Nancy 10/3/26 … “Sluggo’s Terrible New Hat” Part 6

Sluggo happily strolls down the street, wearing his terrible new hat. Nancy hides from him, still disgusted by what she sees.

Finally have enough money to do a bit of spending. Got the Carcass Front for Trench Crusade. The layout of the spures isn't something i'm used to since I've mostly messed around with Northstar and WGA and you can just mix and match those.

Every time I see some big blow out of something Harry Potter related, I am like once again Little Witch Academia is a much better story and they already have better school tropes than Just Kidding Bowlingball has ever done.

It's honestly kind of funny seeing which one of my terrain pieces are being used by the people running games of Trench Crusade for the Carcass Front. The Pope statue and the New Antioch truck seem to get used a lot. lol.

I don't want to run like 500 New Antioch warbands but the Abyssinians are the main ones I'd like to see get plastics. So far a lot of the kitbashes are Zulus (a very much unrelated ethnic group) or weird choices on the part of 3d Sculptors.

Kill la Kill. In today's essay I will explain how it talks about fascism and how uniformity strips people of their idenity, how it's actually a shojo at heart for having two sisters going against the traditions of their mother...also pie.

Of all the myriad obsidian tables, sacrificial stones, totems and graven images, it is the blasphemous idols of the Golden Calf that are most dreaded by the Faithful.

Trench Crusade Carcass Front kitbash continues! Not sure if I should add fabrics to all the Naval Heretics (something I had as a unifying element in my previous Naval Heretics), but with this model it felt very fitting. Also helps distract and cover up the fact there's only one leg on this model.

Trench Crusade's latest lore about a guy who Ate The Fucking Pope reminds me that the people who complain it doesn't have any of the humour or self-aware absurdity of 40k (an arguable quality of 40k imo) are so dead wrong lmao

Trench Crusade Carcass Front kitbash continues! About half the models are now "assembled", and now it's onto the weathering stage. I've stippled on some Greenstuff to give the fabrics some texture, but not too much to make freehanding difficult. Next is the metals.

I find it funny that two of my statue terrain are always used by the local gaming store. They are the two between the sand bags. Looks pretty good with 3D printed surroundings. #trenchcrusade #kitbashing #wargaming #scatterterrian

Some terrain from various plastic army men sets. People tend to forget those cheap figures tend to come with props that are the perfect size for 28 to 32mm figures. Prussian to show off scale. #trenchcrusade #scatterterrian #kitbashing

Neat, getting to interact with a Nahua peoples based game. A lot of cool creatures and monsters to draw from as they are the largest First Nations group in the Americas.
