Chris Walsh @chriswalsh1.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Today is my 51st birthday. And I *still* have teenaged spots. People used to say (back when people had views on me), “don’t worry, your oily skin will age well”. But as well as having teenaged spots, I also look old and worn. #happybirthdaytome 000

Chris Walsh @chriswalsh1.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Do you like my book covers? Designed them myself. What’s driving me toward the end of my current WIP, if I’m honest, is the prospect of designing another. As good a motivation as any, I suppose… 120

Chris Walsh @chriswalsh1.bsky.social · 12/09/2026A nice Saturday. A wander around bustling Canterbury this morning. Bit of writing and music this arvo. Periodically checking KDP, seeing KENP tick nicely up, knowing there are strangers out there investing their time in my work. Thanks to them! 000

Chris Walsh @chriswalsh1.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Anyone read The Ten Human Types by Dexter Dias? Is bloody good. Really like the impressionistic weaving of the science, reflection, and supporting tales- quite genre-busting. Worth buying- and if not keen can simply use as doorstop. 100

Chris Walsh @chriswalsh1.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Is Chris Mason’s tie some sort of protest or reference at Reform conference? Or is it simply a pink glittery tie? 000
Chris Walsh @chriswalsh1.bsky.social · 04/09/2026It’s fascinating seeing a Beatle in action, at any age. I like how very experienced musicians become understated in time, just as writers, artists, architects, philosophers, bus drivers, woodworkers- anyone, in fact, does. 000
Chris Walsh @chriswalsh1.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Last night I gave a ride to couple with a newborn, Dareth Hospital to Rochester. Their first. Was lovely to hear cooing excitement all the way down the A2- though driving new babies does make one focus on the road. I remember that, each in turn, with my three- long time ago now. 000

He then drove home, went back to bed for 3 hours, watched The Guns of Navarone, had dinner, watched Taggart then got back in bed to write his diary. I envy most of this. 26411

Reposted by Chris WalshEric Idle @ericidle.bsky.social · 15/12/2025Shocked by the awful death of Rob Reiner. I spoke with him for over an hour last night. We talked about his work and his plans for the future. I always enjoyed his company. We met at his Dad's in 1975. Last thing he said to me was "See you next year.." Such a terrible end. Such a sweet man. 264175502105
Chris Walsh @chriswalsh1.bsky.social · 15/12/2025Sad about Rob Reiner and his wife passing. As a teen, me and wannabe rockstar friends knew every single line of Spinal Tap. As far as his audience were concerned, he only brought joy. RIP. 010
