New involuntary care beds are coming to Surrey and Prince George. Every person struggling with severe mental illness and addiction is someone’s child, parent, sibling, or friend. These facilities mean real care and a path to recovery — not the street. No one should be left behind.

More internationally trained physicians can now apply directly for a full licence to practice in BC. The changes reduce red tape, help qualified physicians begin practicing sooner and strengthen access to care for people throughout the province.

Adults with mild to moderate hearing loss can buy non-prescription hearing aids in retail stores and online. People often put off getting help for hearing loss because it can be difficult or expensive to get support. The change will create additional options for those who need it.

Wonderful news! Our Government has ratified a four-year agreement on a renewed Physician Main Agreement. Both parties came to the table together, ready to look for solutions to strengthen B.C.’s health-care system. 91.8% of voters supported the agreement & 4292 physicians voted
