When children with autism engage in head banging, it is often a sign of distress. These behaviors can stem from frustration and/or sensory overload. Safe adults have empathy. Safe adults provide support by modeling calming strategies, which helps children learn to regulate in healthier ways.

For well over a decade, the funding for autism research by Congress, had the euphemism of Autism CURES. American tax dollars went into genetic research to find the cause and find a cure. This is what is called eugenics. Decades later, we are back to vaccines causing autism and eugenics.
