It has been over 11 years since the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada released its 93 calls to action. Since then, 14 of them have been completed. That is just 15%. In over a decade. www.indigenouswatchdog.org/2026/09/01/t...

Babe 😭 (Genuinely, read this right now. It's excellent.)

To be fair, I’m not doing so great with men. I told my most recent date that I was working on a novella. “Because you’re Mexican?” he asked. I asked what he meant. “Isn’t a novella a Mexican novel?” Before him was the guy who confessed over drinks that he didn’t “believe in Helen Keller,” because there was “no way she actually flew that plane.” I asked if he meant Amelia Earhart. “Who?” I slept with both of them.

Little disappointed in ANN's headline here. Tsuda's point was still made, and Japan has now made it very clear that actor's voices do, in fact, belong to them. www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

One of the things to come from GamerGate was the gamification of torturing real, live women...hounding them out of their homes, making them look over their shoulders for years. It was treated as a joke, nbd, the work of a few bad apples--as all terrorism against women is--& that failure leads here.

TOEM 2 has my favourite feature!!!! (letting you manually set your gamepad icons independently of the controller you're using)

The options screen in TOEM 2. The gamepad icons setting is highlighted and on the "Playstation" option. I absolutely adore when games include this option because I can't remember Microsoft vs Nintendo face button placement to save my life.

No, SungWon is absolutely correct here. The insistence on sticking with the Japanese title when there is already a perfectly acceptable English one is utterly asinine. Nobody does this in Japanese literature, or film, or any other art form. It's just the anime nerds who insist on being obtuse.

The Unknown Dungeon was the name of Kwesi's Pokémon fansite. PC used to be hosted as a subdomain of it before it got its own domain name. Armend doesn't ring a bell and neither does "AD" as a website tho 🤔 Must have gone by a different username if they were on the forum or they weren't active

This is true. In 2016, I got into an argument with a gay man on a menswear forum. I've since made it my mission to make every man dress gay, thereby destroying his ability to tell who is actually gay and, ultimately, his chances of finding love. I built my social media following to achieve that goal

Someone on Twitter writes to me: "People should follow your advise if they want to look gay."
