Celia @celiwool.bsky.social · 12hI had a good experience, but I did go first thing. I accepted having limited time to look at it as the price you pay for hundreds of thousands of other people wanting to see it too. The corporate event, though, stopping people with tickets entering – that's another story #BayeuxTapestry #R4Today 020

Celia @celiwool.bsky.social · 04/10/2026See, Grant's rookie error there was to come in to Ambridge from beyond the bypass. One minute he's having a normal Sunday evening. The next, he's been drawn into the vortex of a psychodrama not of his own making #TheArchers 0190
Celia @celiwool.bsky.social · 04/10/2026It really does give an extra dimension. And with phrases like 'defunctus est' even my rusty Latin cuts it. I found the repetition of hic/here quite cute, too, giving it great energy 000

Celia @celiwool.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I loved those bits! All the chopping down of trees and building boats too. It showed the determination and size of the enterprise. I liked the big dinner the night before too, with the spatchcocked chickens and kebabs (I'm sure they were kebabs) #BayeuxTapestry 120

Celia @celiwool.bsky.social · 04/10/2026The Bayeux merch is absolutely class. Tankards made of horn, a bugle, battle-themed Christmas decorations 😆 We're all going to be having a Harold with an arrow through his eye on our trees this year. Loved the tapestry and loved the dedicated gift shop almost as much. 000

Celia @celiwool.bsky.social · 03/10/2026This looks delicious. It's taken me a few attempts to get that nice grainy consistency you've got there (not pastey, as homemade hummus can be sometimes). As I'm on a budget I do the chickpeas in my pressure cooker. Again, very different from tinned. 110
