Snow!!! Lots of snow!! Here are a couple of pictures of our morning walk! I would say I'm a little jealous but tbh I'm not sad to see summer temps go ... I just wanted to enjoy the fall a little more first 😂

A few deer hide underneath a snow covered tree by a stand of aspens.

A muddy road through a snow covered field and an orange corgi trotting next to it. There is a gate and barn a little ways ahead, and a mountain in the distance.

out of nowhere, but last night I dreamed that vodyanitsa was an aqua blue animal crossing-style capybara. I cannot remember anything else about this dream except for ROUND and her lil blue and white snoot peeking out from under shaggy bangs that covered the rest of her face!

breaks my heart when people respond to zine scams with long threads of "advice" boiling down to 1) don't make zines and 2) if you do, professionalize. genuinely think my advice would be the complete opposite. go smaller, go shittier, go more diy, and all of that will keep it manageable.

Using money to solve your ADHD problems

Meme edit: a smiling woman in a black witch hat waves at the camera in front of a mantel lined with glowing orange paper lanterns and lit white candles. The edited subtitle reads, "If you can't summon executive function directly from your brain, store-bought is fine.

Between the weather cooling off and family health problems settling down to less of a constant, it's been really nice to sit in the fragmentum universe and put words to doc again. Unhelpfully, it hasn't been on the next chap but I think there's a few out there who might appreciate what's cooking 🌶

I feel like one of the most radical, best and most rebelliously good things you can do right now in the informational online space is just....give people credit, love, support and shoutouts. Even if they just inspired you or prodded a thought you built on, name them and thank them loudly.

I offered some advice that seemed to help a lot of writers on tumblr, so I'll offer it here too: your best bet is prolly to just write the thing the way you want and let the reader be responsible for their own media literacy

half the draw of writing fic to me is to see if i can’t get people to see characters/dynamics the way i see them. in fact it’s sort of a plea for people to see things through my eyes if anything.

In response to the new content guidelines, writers are moving their portfolios to Archive of Our Own to avoid permanent deletion. The shift marks a significant change in the platform's long-standing hosting policies for independent fiction authors and readers.

I have been yowling this for so long. Fandom is built on the backs of slash zines that struggled to exist at all and we repay that with petty squabbles, throwing stones about dynamics and forgetting that you don’t need something to be canon to be good. Thats why its called FANFICTION
