Hey apparently it's World Sight Day. If you've got a young baby, do look out for how their eyes respond to flash photography. If they have red-eye in only one eye (or neither eye) when photographed with a flash, that can be a symptom of Retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer my daughter had.

I don't know if this is a neuro diverse thing or what but I hate any time restaurants have vague "we have lots of gluten free options just ask" statements, I'm on your website for just only exactly that information, I don't take that statement as "you're welcome here" truly, that's all I want.

If you are disabled and ever had notetakers at university. What do you wish they had known or done either outside the basic notetaking (e.g. don't phone the deaf person) or done in notetaking style. I had notetakers, many who couldn't cope with my technical subject or asshole lecturers = funtimes.

Does anyone know of a plugin or other trick to force the academic ebook access platforms into dark mode? If I'm able to download a book, I do that and read it on my Kobo in dark mode. But some books only have online access, and I'd love to be able to read those in dark mode too.
