Ok I realise this is niche but I said I would... Here's the notice about a road closure that's over by the day the paper came out. #Carluke

Page 3 of Carluke and Wishaw gazette which has articles on Road closure on right of image, others about Charity's warning, Charity walk for Alzheimer's and.

Road closure

Motorists are being warned that a section of the A73 Lanark Road in Carluke will remain closed for several more days while essential works are completed.

The closure, which is to allow Energy Assets to undertake carriageway re-surfacing works, has been extended and will now affect the road between the junctions of Goremere Road and Wilton Road.

The revised closure will begin at gam on Saturday, August 8, and remain in place until midnight on Tuesday, August 11.

South Lanarkshire Council said contractors are working to complete the works as quickly as possible and apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Emergency vehicles will be permitted through..

Drivers are advised to use the signed diversion via the A73. Glamis Ave nue, Chapel Street, A72 A70 and A743-

Enjoyable but ....

A very tasty ready meal of cumin rice and a flavoursome curry sauce but there was lots and lots of rice and very little in the way of meat and sauce. Very enjoyable but can't help feeling that I was somewhat cheated.

Accents vary over time and space. People are weirdly judgey about lots of accents & that really sucks. H-dropping might signal something in one location & not in another & if we can't be curious about our differences instead of bashing them, we won't get to a better place. *Steps of soapbox*

I'm watching TV that was coming out when I was a tiny baby, tried to pin down my dad on baby/TV schedule & he can't remember having a TV in 1981 but I've seen the photos. I'm not including me but I'm there right of shot, being held by my great grandad in a world of brown.

Decided the winning house lights (prize = our appreciation), seen town lights theme is Blue curtains (the famous Christmas story of the Blue curtains??), ate many seafoods.
