That's what she's been doing for three days Alex. Everyone has a breaking point. Gingey had plenty of opportunities to apologize for their initial post and to talk things out over DMs.

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

It was only after repeatedly explaining why she was hurt & what she wanted an apology for+being brushed off repeatedly that she finally lost her temper, but no shes the bad guy because she unfollowed someone on Twitter & was upset by being smeared online in response to UNFOLLOWING SOMEONE ON TWITTER

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

Love how it's crickets when someone acuses my fiancée of having AI psychosis and replacing her friends with chatbots. But when she finally loses composure after 3 days of being smeared online, now suddenly people have something to say.

210

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

Still not hearing an apology for publicly posting that she has AI psychosis and has replaced her friends with chatbots. She doesn't owe you eternal friendship. Friendships don't last forever. It's awful how this one is ending but it doesn't give you the right to say whatever you want about her.

100

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

Just because your life is worse without her in it, doesn't mean her social life hasn't been thriving without you in hers. And saying "people who treat you better than I do don't know you as well as I do" and "making new friends is unhealthy" is not what healthy people say to their friends.

100

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

And you keep moving the goalposts 1st she's isolating herself & replacing human friendships with chatbots. When she refutes that suddenly it's unhealthy for her to make new friends Do you want her isolated or not?

100

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

You don't even need to change your stance on AI just apologize for how you have been talking about her mental health.

110

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

Gingey what you should be apologizing for is publicly smearing Rachel as delusional. If you had genuine concerns about her mental health you know how to get in touch with me, with her brother, with mutual friends like Marcy, instead you waited to throw a fit on social media BC she unfollowed you.

To nobody's surprise, non-sexual games with two girls kissing are being caught in the censorship together with all the "obscene" "non-artistic porn" Because it's gay. And I know I've repeated this for like 8 years at this point: To these people LGBTQIA = porn and porn = evil

SUPERHOT VR had its whole story patched out. I thought about it slightly too long and fell into rabbit hole. It doesn't make sense, it's bad that it happened, and it prompts a whole bunch of naval-gazing about Art.

So, you might be wondering: does it matter if Covid shots are recommended? Yes, yes it does. 1. Insurance won't cover them if they're not recommended. That's a HUGE challenge for a lot of people. 2. If more people skip the shots, manufacturers will make fewer doses, making them harder to find.

I'm not sure if Canadian music is inherently a little corny* or if it's just that the Canadian music I listen to is almost exclusively dad rock, songs from my childhood and high school years, and like, down with webster *Not necessarily a negative judgement

Genuinely can't think of any other artists I'd wish for new music from this summer, most of the ones I want already have something planned or had a big release last year A new 100 gecs album would be fun

It was incredibly funny to see my mom (draws once every 5 years) and my sibling (has worked in the animation industry and misunderstood the game and started drawing detailed storyboards) both draw the fountain scene from ocean's 11.

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 01/03/2025

It was my dad's birthday last night and he asked us to draw movie scenes for him to guess. Here's what I drew. (Be nice we had 5 minutes and I'm primarily an abstract artist lmao)

A bunch of men posing in front of a helicopter in the snow

Two stick figures looking concerned as balls of fur pop out of the small furry creature on the table next to a bottle of water.

A man is operating a woodchipper. There is blood on the snow.

Also dont write novels set "in the near future" because then trump gets elected & a pandemic happens and you have to scrap everything and start over Writing a novel set in 2021 is a lot easier to do in 2025 than in 2015 and oh my god why am i still working on this

010

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

And I could make Amanda be from Vancouver instead of Toronto Anyway that is the fucking devil talking i need to stop doing major changes, finish this outline, and get back to writing the actual novel.

110

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

I have other stories set in Canada I don't need to cancon this one. Then i realized well, because they're no longer driving from NY to FL, there's no reason for them to be on the east coast, and wouldn't it make more sense for Luke, an aspiring director, to live in california...

110

Noah he/him & ze/hir @catherben.bsky.social · 14/02/2025

The other day I was thinking about my novel and how I'm nearly done the new outline now that I've reworked it to be a covid story & I realized well, now that I've cut the road trip to disneyworld there's not really a reason for the characters to be american. had to shut that thought down real fast

TLDR: There is nothing enforceable for the immediate future. It will take months or years to implement this via rulemaking or bureaucratic changes which are then subject to legal challenge. While it's worrying, there's no immediate change yet for most trans people. Do not comply in advance.
