The next large disagreement between the CEO and I was over a large expenditure of money that was, in my opinion, a negligent use of OnKey funds. I also did not win this argument either. It was to charter a yacht. I found it irresponsible to spend OnKey funds on this as it was not at all the reason that people were giving us money. I was assured it would work out, and in the end I had no say over the matter.

This yacht cost OnKey a total of $9,153.13, with a remaining balance of $14,153.12 still to be paid. Several staff members were confused and unhappy with this purchase. We were told it would be fine, and there was a plan. I know many on the previous team were unhappy with this. To be clear, the yacht was chartered but never used. (This was also the very first expense I cut when I took over as CEO)

I'll be honest, a lot of my initial enthusiasm for harlequinade has faded now that a lot of the response to it has been calling it a tfc ripoff lmao. I still want to make it and will be finishing it and there have been some lovely people who are very supportive but it doesn't cancel out the hate
