A couple quick observations here, which should be obvious. 1) insurance “risk pools” work by requiring younger/healthier people who make few or no claims to sign up and pay premiums alongside older/less healthy people who do, essentially covering their costs.

The last time he promised something like this it became a tunnel with regular Tesla cars driven by humans at 30 miles per hour.
Elon Musk: Boring Company is working on a simple, precursor Hyperloop tunnel between Austin and San Antonio (>200 mph).
Due to traffic congestion, that journey can currently take up to 2.5 hours. @BoringCompany can reduce that to a consistent <30 mins.

This strikes me as more than a PR stunt or even a pressure point. In 1918 Westminster held elections. Nearly all the MPs elected from Ireland were from a nationalist party. They ignored Westminster & formed an Irish Parliament in Dublin* - thus independence as a fait accompli…

Interesting view on the value of archival records in today's @irishtimes www.irishtimes.com/opinion/2026... The issue here is the DPC's requirement that records be destroyed if there is no further use for them. Part of that is determining the future use. And archival purposes may be a required use
