We went and found the Lego sukkah. It’s in Oak Park, MI, and it was built by Menachem R., with help from his nieces and nephews. During the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, you build a booth and eat meals outside in it. They’re usually made of wood but he got funky with this one!
Twilight photo of a colorful sukkah built out of giant Lego blocks of every color, with a wooden roof with branches across the top. It has an open weave pattern of blocks, with larger openings at the top.
There is a door on one side. It sits in the driveway of a suburban yard.Color photo of the back of a sukkah built out of giant Lego blocks, sitting in a suburban driveway. It is intensely colorful, with different colors of blocks mingled all together. In some sections there are patterns and in others it is more random.

Somehow it’s already #SciArtSeptember Day 30 Carbon. To wrap things up I drew a peat bog, as these bogs are a major carbon sink. www.unep.org/news-and-sto...
Colored pencil drawing of a peat bog. There’s an area of standing water surrounded by dark rich soil on either side with some pine trees in the back. The ground is populated by little mounds of plant matter that rather look like little haystacks.

An illustration of a large container ship moving forward through deep blue water, seen from a high-angle rear perspective. The ship is loaded with reddish-brown cargo containers and creates a white wake behind it. From the bow of the ship, a cone of yellow light projects forward and upward into the distance. A faint white dashed line outlines a triangular wedge shape over the water directly ahead of the vessel.A yellow and blue ocean buoy, labeled "CMA CGM Sea Guardian - Norfolk," floats in deep blue, choppy water. The buoy has a bright yellow top section, a light blue base, and a yellow superstructure with sensors and a light on top. A faint wake trails behind it, indicating movement. Under a blue sky with light, scattered clouds, the horizon stretches across the upper third of the image, with a cargo ship barely visible in the far distance on the right. An upward angle shot shows a white industrial container on a ship, featuring three circular glass viewports on its front panel. The container is secured on a flat platform, with three thick curved pipes rising behind it under a blue sky. To the right, a large white spherical structure is partially visible.
