Now that I'm thinking about it, it's crazy to me (although not unheard of) that a game releases a hotfix that potentially fixes the core issue of a game. Makes all the reviews before it pretty useless

These are good changes, but I'm kind of mad I had to suffer 😅 The bosses in Control: Resonant aren't difficult. The battles are just long. And with the combat being so repetitive, they're a real slog. Reducing their health will hopefully address the first problem!

I was confused at first by the dialogue options in Control: Resonant since they didn't seem to have an effect on anything, but now I adore them. Allowing Dylan to choose between "smol bean" and "smol bean who wants to be big bean but gets constantly reminded he's smol bean" is great every time.

I did a stint at Microsoft not long after their anti-trust suit with the DOJ and it was a running joke how the DOJ forced them to unbundle Microsoft office components but didn’t constrain pricing so they just the priced individual apps so high it was cheaper to buy the bundle so, yeah, fine print.
