We used a wildlife camera to capture some of the local foxes in Cabra. Have you see any wildlife in your garden - please let us know in the comments. Particularly if you’ve seen a hedgehog as their numbers have declined badly in recent years. #SpeirGorm

First frog spawn of the year spotted at the connecting Cabra pond. A small but important sign of spring. Frogs rely on ponds and wetlands like this to breed, and these habitats support many other species too. Even in urban areas, wetlands play a vital role in supporting biodiversity.

When I hear lovely birdsong in the morning, I remember this comic and laugh
A comic of a bird singing about somebody eating their babies, and a crow responding that they did and they'd do it again.

And below them, it is a man listening to a cd of their conversation entitled "relaxing bird sounds"

The dad in this article is spot-on. The exemptions system, as it's now operating, is not a support system for students, it's a cop-out on the part of the state. For Gaeilge, parents of kids with dyslexia are presented a binary choice - opt in, but with no additional supports, or opt out.
Irish Times article, entitled 'Children with dyslexia denied chance to learn Itish due to lack of support in schools.' Link to article below in thread.
