I know these layoffs are done with zero care or consideration but they going to see how bad of a culture they are preparing for themselves as a organisation. Who chould work well or care much about the job with outcomes like that being a risk. You provide zero security you’re not an employer.

Man… we haven’t had a Zelda game going for this kind of art style since Twilight Princess in 2006 and I always wanted to see Nintendo go back to it for another Zelda game. …but dang, the character models just do not look good. It’s some of the worst examples of “over-designing” I’ve seen in a while

I'm so torn on this because Link kinda looks like a haunted porcelain doll and the detail for his clothing is over-designed, but the environment itself looks really visually pleasing but it's also overstimulating?? Not gonna stop me from buying it day-1, but it's gonna take some getting used to.

Stardew Valley, while fairly successful early on, took several years to even reach that state, as the dev worked part time, and had a spouse willing to support him in working on the game. It then took nearly a decade AFTER release for Stardew Valley to reach the point it's at now.
