When I teach linear I like to point out that the mathematical use comes via gardening. Womb -> a growing place -> a garden plot with lines of string to make a grid to put a regular array of seeds -> an array of numbers each with its designated spot.

This is *it* with Xhekaj. He played a great game! He also took a dumb penalty & got caught out for a goal against. Story of his career. That's who he is, point. I love the guy, he's fun & the toughness is real & needed. He's my #7 though, roughly tied with Struble. Unlikely X ever rises above that.

Real progress from the Habs to me this year looks like convincingly closing out games. Waaaaay too many down to the wire or just unconvincing wins last year. Winning games you don’t deserve to or OT wins are fun, but I’ll believe they’ve taken a step when they prove they can shut it down early

I don’t care much about Conner Hellebuyck or Dylan Larkin one way or the other, but the next NHL CBA should end guaranteed contracts entirely. Players refusing to honour contracts is fine, so long as they can be cut at any point without penalty.
