Tales from the Crypt on AMC has the soap opera effect going on REAL BAD. I think they AI upscaled it and have it running at 60 fps. The ones on Tubi seem to be at the correct framerate, though, for anyone that cares.

a good silent hill thing is full of imagery that ties back to the story symbolically but a great silent hill thing should also feature some stuff that feels like it makes sense but is a couple of layers of abstraction too far to make a one to one allegory and leaves you going what the hell was that
